    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using out of character information into roleplay that your character would not logically know. An example of this being, if you found addressed a character with their name without reasonably knowing or being told their name.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when a player exploits the good-willed nature of roleplay by overplaying their character and not establishing any real flaws, or disadvantages (given a scenario of combat) to the existing roleplay.

With a keen smirk struck across his face and a hop in his stride, Mithar approaches the well-dressed gentleman keenly and rests his arms to his side in a respectful manner benefitting a merchant of the seas. "Wealth, dear friend." Mithar said with great enthusiasm, and then splayed his palm to the crates being loaded off his fish hauler "I've come to sell fresh fish off the boat and into the market of this fine city.". At the end of his statement he would step aside, aided by his gesture in which he would allow the gentleman to gaze upon his haul. "Would you care for some? For your dashing attire and friendliness, I would feel obliged to offer you two fish for the price of one.. though at a limit of course." The gentleman would look back at him with a gleeful smile, staring at the crates full of fish before shouting back in return "Of course, such a deal, I would not miss that for the world!."
