You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

The rugged dwarf sits across from the old hag surprised to hear that his arrival was foretold. "Well lass my story is not exactly going to blow you away but if you must know. I am merely a dwarf looking around this area for ways to save the fallen. My departed adventuring party is what I miss the most and from rumours around voidal magic might fill the void in my adventuring heart." A small break to recompose himself from discussing old wounds then awaits for the hags response. The doomforged dwarf  ponders upon the past self of being raised in such a society and how he yearns that his close fallen brothers and sisters will be seen again. The future for him now is unclear as, without his close knit of friends, will he find them again or find new people to fill that abyss in his life.

Most his life he has been the more adventurous of dwarves despite the honour code aiming more towards keeping within the home town. His friends who joined him were jolly people with simular paths of exploring the lands they had been born in. Now with their departure from this world, the dwarf has became more quite and afraid of the world. This hasn't stopped him from finding a resolution in his woes by talking to many 'o' folk and learning whatever he can have his hands on. How was his friends lost? He himself saw them murdered by a roaming bandit group and only barely made it to rest his battered body upon the frigid grass behind a bush. Before all this adventuring life, his home of the Doomforge clan was very to code as was required by the higher ups in his society. This code he still holds to this day but still mentally tweaks it a little to keep his persuit of resolving his life issues.
