    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when someone uses information that their character would likely know nothing about while roleplaying as that character. For example knowing the name of another character without being told it in roleplay.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when a character performs an action that would be unrealistic/impossible and in some cases prevents a reaction to said action. For example: John emotes:"John slits Mark's Throat and he dies".

Born in the city of Sutica, Francisco always heard tales of legendary heroes and faraway lands from the many travellers who would pass through the city in his younger years but his parents well off merchants, expected Francisco to one day take over their business and as such forced his interest towards business and away from such folk but this only established his desire to leave his home and experience the tales and the adventures he heard of and be a fabled hero. Francisco eventually befriended an old retired duellist from Haense while a teenager and began to learn what he could from his friend. Balancing his time between the business lessons forced on him by his parents and his duelling lessons, he eventually decided to run from home to explore the world kept from him, he took only the clothes on his back and his sword intent on finally living for once.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
