As a child Sorn, living in Ker'nor, was put out by his parents, who he never knew, because he had mental troubles which caused him to have random breakdowns, where he became bloodthirsty, peaceful, or any number of personalities. As he grew older, has learned to 'control' his breakdowns, so he can hold them off, but he did not learned how to completely prevent them.
At his current age he still lives in Ker'nor, and the breakdowns are getting stronger, more erratic, and more frequent. His mental issues have kept him from getting a job, which has led to malnourishment. He has no social connections, and has spent the last 100 years of his life, trying to fix himself.
