You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Fienna looked around, checking to see who the old hag was referring to, it didn't take long for the girl to realize there were no others in this tent besides the two of them. "Y?" She said raising her eyebrows as she pointed at herself. "Yam unsure as of why vy z expecting y... seems unwise to tell stranger story, all Y will tell vy jest that Yam currently lost." A brief silence breaks the dialogue in two until Fienna sighs, it was as if she had given up on what she had said just a second ago. She proceeded to speak "Y got lost on my way to Veletz." Fienna had remained standing during the entire ordeal, maintaining a distance between the two as she was still awfully close to the entrance of the tent. "Y left home wanting to see more of w world." Fienna is seemingly only carrying a very small amount of things to be traveling all that way. "Y was told Y could find work there." The girl took a step towards the old woman, slightly decreasing the distance between them. "With Lady Brasca, have vy heard of her?" Fienna gets a little closer once again, awaiting a response.

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I would avoid power gaming by ensuring I add words such as "attempts", "makes an effort to" and "tries" to my character's actions. This is to ensure I am not forcing any actions/results on any other persons' character. We would utilize rolling or any appropriate mechanism to determine the results of our actions, maintaining fairness for both of us.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Fair roleplay can disrupted by metagaming as it may give people an unfair advantage on the current situation. This may include the sudden involvement of other people who wouldn't have otherwise known about the situation and knowledge of information that should have been unknown to the metagamer.
