For example: if someone found out that they were to be robbed but their character didn't know but yet prepared for the robbery. That would be meta-gaming
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Doing something that is impossible with your character. For example: making your character jump 20 feet in the air, but he is a small halfling who doesn't have the strength to jump that high would be power-gaming

Born in the city of Helena. Arron Smith has loving parents who make a living selling pastries in Helena's market square.

 

He has 2 siblings: James and Amy.

 

James is his older brother who decided to stay with his parents and help with the business.

 

Amy is his younger sister who also plans to stay with her parents.

 

After a "boring" life as a baker, he decided to move out once he turned 18. Now that he is on his own, Arron plans to make a name for himself, endless adventures.

 

When he was 10 his house was robbed by bandits, stealing some important family possessions. Arron, if anything, wants to find his family's heirloom: His great grandfather's watch, his grandfather was important to him and his watch was the only thing left.

 

His parents didn't really support his choice to leave, Arron's parents decided that if he ever wants to come back he can.

 

Most people go on an adventure that finds them, Arron finds his own adventures.
