Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: Mythrandel narrows his eyes at the hag. The air inside the tent hangs heavy, damp with rot. He steps forward with the steady, measured grace of a man long used to danger.
“I’ve no tale fit for a bard,” he says, his voice rough, edged like a broken steel blade. “Only the truth, I go where the map ends and trouble begins. A merchant’s daughter vanished near these swamps. They say curses walk with the mist. I came to see if it’s lies… or something worse.”
He studies her in silence, as something ancient glints behind her eyes, that don’t blink, that don’t reflect light. Above him, the candles sway though there’s no wind, casting warped shapes across the tent’s stained fabric. His hand moves slowly, deliberately, to the hilt at his side.
“If you’ve truly been expecting me,” he says, “then you already know I don’t kneel for cheap demon tricks.” Mythrandel's stance shifts—measured, ready. “Drop the mask, demon,” he growls. “I came for answers. But if it’s blood you want instead… I won’t disappoint you.”
Edit: I'm also Greek so English is not my first language however I speak it very well on a surface level. Grammar is where I sometimes mess up here and there. And I'd always prefer correcting myself, everything was written by me but refined by AI to said grammar standards. I use AI rarely but mostly to enhance my grammar slightly in fantasy literature and roleplaying scenarios. Its also a way for me to learn more how to become a fluent English speaker
