Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"certainly ma'am" He takes a seat at the cushion and makes Himself comfortable on it "How have you been expecting me if I only arrived and you-" he does not even finish his words and sighs his fingers run through his hair "as you know I just arrived here but I come from far away I dont even know how far as I have been travelling for more than a decade and we had an accident at sea" his eyes become watery " at night, out in the sea we were attacked by something in the middle of a storm" he places his hands on his temples "their screams its like I can still hear them" he cover his face with his hands "I was thrown off the boat by something and the next thing I knew I was here"
he looks directly at the hag "pretty much everyone on that boat was family to me and you know what family does, they take care of each other and I could not even help them" He looks devastated his suffering clearly visible on his face "the only reason I even found them was because of my mom telling me to run away that one fateful night twenty odd years ago, but I'm sure there will be someone I can call my brother in this place" he smiles at the hag and holds out his hand for a handshake "the name is Talos Tempestus as you probably know, what is yours?"
