Being born and raised in the Kingdom of Norland has always been something I’ve fairly enjoyed. I raised into a family where the men went out hunting and the women went out gathering, which is how I ended up developing a strong love with nature. My mother, Nora, would always take me gathering, in search of herbs, wood, and even bones. My father, on the other hand, would rarely ever take me hunting with him and my brother. Though, when I had a the chance, it would be to learn how to track the animals and learn their behaviors. When I turned 16 my mother became severely ill, so I had to go out myself and do the gathering, everyday hoping that my mom would get better. Unfortunately, she passed a week later and I was left with my brother and my father. After my mother had passed my father started telling use the history of Norland. From lineages, to the families, to even wars. While the history was violent in some parts, I found peace in it. Even until this day.
Mina looked at the man when he had approached. She noticed how well-dressed he was and honestly, it slightly intimidated her. “Adventure I suppose,” she smiled nervously but tried to remain calm when talking. Mina wasn’t lying when she said she was looking for adventure. She wanted something different and this was her opportunity to do it.
