"Hello sir" Nick said while waving at the man "My name is Nick Leaf and I'm here to apply for a position as a knight in this city. I wanted to pass by the market quickly and then head to the knights' barracks". Continuing his response, Nick would ask the well-dressed gentleman to provide either a guide, or a map of the city. With the map he'd likely try to memorize it and then head to the market. If he found a guide Nick would ask them to lead him straight to the barracks.
