You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Me? Oh well um, I'm just passing through, you know? Not really looking for trouble or anything", Nikolias says while glancing around the tent and shifting around nervously. "But I guess I could tell you a little about me", He cautiously sits down on the cushion. He then start to speak, His tone shifting to a more confident and steady tone. "Names Nikolias, I come from a small town far to the east, called Orleston-its not much but its home. Grew up on a farm, working with my father, it wasn't bad livin, but i wanted something else, something greater. I had always heard stories of knights, you know? Brave men, strong in battle, honorable, and they looked damn good in that armor. I wanted that life, i wanted to be more than just a farm boy for the rest of my life. My father always thought i was foolish, kept telling me, "The swords not for you boy, Work the fields". But i knew that's not all that i was meant for. So when i turned eighteen, I left. Left Orleston behind and set out on my own".
