    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Utilizing OOC information about the game in-character to get yourself and advantage in a particular scenario when your character shouldn't have that knowledge.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Giving your character a distinct advantage or "plot armor" in some context to negate all negative effects or undesirable effects towards your character to give yourself an advantage and not leaving things up to roleplay, but rather just "telling" things how you want them to be.

Rodderick hoists his backpack up onto one shoulder, the bag clearly too small for a man so muscular. His face is scowling as he stands up from his seat, not happy to deal with all the fake, masklike jovial hellos from people who clearly just want something from him. Money, time, an ear... It didn't matter. Everyone just wanted something from him and he wanted nothing to do with them. As expected, he steps off the boat, and the first thing he's met with is some overbearingly happy man welcoming him. "What a farse..." Rodderick mutters to himself just before he turns on his best fake customer service voice. He replies to the man, "Oh, you know, health, wealth, happiness! What better place to find it than here!" Rodderick lowers his voice slightly, trying to not be easily heard, "you know, make a name for myself one s***hole at a time".

As for the rule you were confused on- there's a plugin that says to watch what you say when you swear, but nobody abides by it. Feel free to do your sailor RP.
