Nixces

Annabelle was born and raised to Highlander Parents in New Reza, the capital of Haense. Taking both her mother and her father’s surname establishing her as Annabelle Wolfestien Grimm. 

Her father a trained medic and her mother a simple seamstress, Anna opted to follow in the foot steps of her father at a young age. She’d often find herself staring at her father as he worked in his office that was connected to the family home to pick up each and every detail of his work. This often lead patients uncomfortable with the child’s presence in the door way during their appointments which entertained her father.
Not much of a relationship was established between herself and her mother, but nothing negative kept their relationship closer. She was simply more close to her father due to her amusement of his medical work and teachings. 
Outside of her father’s office and her family’s home in New Reza, Anna had troubles with making friendships due to her over-maturity, lack of humor or sense of sarcasm, and general disinterest with children’s toys and games. Although her mother often encouraged her to try and make more friends to push her out of the house for some fresh air and take her nose out of a book for once, this seemed to backfire as Anna would simply park herself in-front of the front door and refuse social interaction.
 To fill that space of loneliness her father gifted Anna a kitten. Her mother complained of the gift, though changed her mind when Anna grew interest in her mother’s sewing to create toys and sometimes clothing for her feline friend who she had named Duchess. 

At fifteen Anna started learning in a more professional environment of medicine and physical health. She attended classes and studied in her free time with the books her father had provided her with.  Nothing particularly interesting happened at this point of her life as her social interested hadn’t grown from when she was a child. Not like any teenagers her age would really be interested in bland conversations of medicine and her lack of enthusiasm and a rather bland personality.
When her eighteenth birthday arrived, Anna had been struck with the realization that she had been going on throughout the same schedule and learning since a child. She had an early mid-life crisis and opted to start trying new things. Alas, the neighborhood she had lived in prior was already familiar with her and not many tried to befriend her. She brought her concerns up with her father and the family planned a few trips out of New Reza. Anna enjoyed these trips, though seemed to miss the places and people she had met in these far lands and considered that starting a new leaf would bring her happiness.

After completing her  schooling in medicine at age nineteen, Anna and her father packed up her things and loaded them onto a ship after She had taken the title ‘Doctor Annabelle Wolfestien Grimm’.
