    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using knowledge, that your character hasn't learnt through roleplaying. E.g Mike messages Tim on Skype: "Come help, were getting raided!"

Norton Brown is a short human male, from the Kingdom of Norland. Norton has dark brown hair and eyes. 

    Norton was born into a very religious, but poor family. His father was almost never home, because of his strong work ethic. Norton's mother was always really dear to him, but she died of illness when Norton was 10. He had an older brother, which he never really liked. Norton despised his lazy brother, that would stay at home all day, doing nothing but kicking a ball made of sheep intestines and skin. His brother was eventually killed in a fight at a local tavern.

     When Norton turned 13, he started working in the fields day after day, just trying to make enough money to live on. One day he decided to go to the local tavern and get a drink. There he met a wise old man by the name of Gideon the Great. Gideon told Norton about his adventures all over the land and encouraged him to travel out in to the world. Norton saved up money for a few years, before embarking on his journey. When he turned 20, he decided to go out and explore the wilderness. Upon his travels he came by many beautiful towns, but never decided to move into any of them. To this day he still travels the world, trying to find the perfect place to live.

Physical Description: You see a small, thin man, with unkempt, dark brown hair. He is constantly looking down on his feet, trying to avoid eye contact.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
