    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta gaming is when you are taking yourself, and putting it into the game rather than the character to get an advantage. Knowing something is going to happen and then making your character act that way so nothing bad happens to you or so you are more powerful.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: When you do something that changes the whole space of the game, ex. Making yourself powerful, killing someone quickly and not giving them a chance. Making up the roleplay basically by making yourself godly and can do anything and everyone else is not like that. You cannot fight with someone and cut their body in half with just a knife. You cannot fly if you have never had those powers, been granted those powers, and just want to fly instantly, without any reason whatsoever, and use that flying to then react towards others in a way that changes everything.
