Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: Sits down on the cushion. "Hello my name is Ismodius. My life was never easy. I grew up in a family of Elves and as being the first born my parents took great care of me. I passed this down as my parents had my siblings. The house was always active and it was like we didnt have anything to be afraid of." approximately 4 years later(at the age of 10) " One day when we were peacefully having dinner, we began to see light coming over the hill and talking." Humans begin to top out over the hill. "'Well looks like we got ourselves some pests to remove'" the Humans say as they begin to walk over. "My mother quickly tried to hide us but the manpower they had would have made hiding useless. She knew I would be able to handle myself at the age of 8 and let me out the back window and told me to "RUN!" "I stood there, hesitantly, but the sound of the door being broken down sent shivers which provided me with adrenaline, and ran in tears with all my might. I hoped I would see them again." 8 years go by. "8 years have gone by and I have no sign of my parents or my siblings. I return to the debris of my house every month, asking why the humans did this. But I also blame myself for not trying to help. For these last 8 years I lived in an abandoned house and struggled to find food until as of late. Now I live in sorrow alone, looking for other life to establish relations with. You actually are the first person I have seen, alive, in the last 8 years."
