    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Is acting on/using knowledge in rp that your character has no way of knowing. fx your a hermit who lives in the middle of no where and you know all details in politics.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Ist dictating the reactions and consequenses of your actions. Like saying that you find some one to teach you magic and become a master of it within the blink of an eye.

Seoman was born to a woodsman named Eawulf and his wife Gelda in the small hamlet Akburg in Norland. As so many others they were forced to flee when the undead armies came down on Norland, his father joined forces with larger group of refugees their leader was named Alberik. Together they made ships and sailed away. When they reached atlas they continued south untill in a storm their ships were smashed upon ice. Now without ships, they gathered their suplies and took what ever wreckage they could carry and continued south. Atlast they hit a wall of ice and as they did not have the gear to climb it they went east. Shortly there after they reached land. Here they decided to make their home. Hunters would range inland looking for animals and fishers would make holes in the ice from where they would fish. They made their homes out of bone, fur and snow.

The Elder of the community was a very old man, nobody really knew how old but he was past his prime when the next eldest one was born(83 years ago), he had a small private library containing nearly 30 books on military tactics and strategy, architectur(military and civil), history, religion and magical theory. Seoman wa fasinated by all these subjects and spent much of his free time with the elder learning to read and write. 

At the age of 18 he completed his trail of manhood. Singlehandedly killing a great white bear. After the elder died he inherited all of the books and continued his studies. His studies has made him a decent builder and commander.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
