    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when do unfair emotes like attacking someone without giving them a chance to react.

Lorene was raised in the City of Providence for most her life. During her young teenage years, she always snuck out out of the safety of the tall stone walls and went into the wilderness for a few hours, just enjoying the sounds of nature and peace and quiet she so rarely got in the city. She always got taunted by her older brother, Vexian for being such a tree hugger. When she turned 17, she finally packed her sparse valuables and moved out with her brother to seek a new life of opportunity. This didn't last long however and they soon split ways after just about 2 years on the road near Urguan. Vexian and all his valuables were missing from the camp they set up. Lorene felt destroyed that her brother left her and decided to go deep into the forests for a year. Now that Lorene has turned 20, she finally decided she wants to see for herself what's happened in the world of Almaris since she was gone.

Physical Description: A shy wood elf, standing tall at 5"4. Her green eyes shine gently in the dark and blonde hair shines bright in the sun.
Roleplay Scenario:

Lorene would look at the gentlemen, her eyes wide like a spooked deer because of his friendless. Lorene takes a split second to regain her wits before giving the man a slight smile, replying "I..I am Lorene. I'm here to visit my friend...Could you perhaps give me some direction to his dwelling?"
