You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Oh oh-, you must be whom my master told me about" you said shyly "By my master's last will I think you should know about me already but... I'll tell you my version of the story" you told the to the old hag with all your honesty "My first memory goes back to when I was being raised by my master, I grew up in an old yet comfortable cabin... I was raised to help out master in cleaning and cooking, and in my free time I could only read some stories for children, apart from that and some manners master teached me, I don't know much about this world" you think about what else there is to tell "I grew alone with my master, so I've never met anyone else, because of that... I don't know how to interact with others..., not long ago, master fell sick and I could only worry about it" tears began showing from your eyes "And soon after... master passed away, I thought about what to do next, I could only cry at that moment... and then, I saw a little box besides master's bed" you wipe away the tears "In the box there was a notebook wich had some messages left from master, master was thanking me about all I had done, and wrote about how he found me..., it said I was abandoned in the middle of a forest, I dont resent high elves for abandoning me but... I don't feel like one of them, because of that, I decided to dye my silver hair to another color" you finally relaxed "It also mentioned about how different I was from what master heard about high elves, how I was kind, shy, and also a bit cowardly..." you take a deep breath and the smell of rotted wood and moss reminds you of where you are "At the end of the notebook wich I assumed to be master's last will, I was told that my name was Origin, but there wasnt further explanation about it... and master also wrote instructions about how to come here, it said that you could help me, that you could teach me about this world, about what I should do next, and that you once were a dear friend" you resolve yourself while looking at the old hag "So, please, I'll be counting on you" you politely ask the old hag while lowering your head and close your eyes while your mind is filled with excitement and fear about what is there to come.
