    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when the character obtains information without acquiring it from the roleplay and obtaining it out of charcater.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when a character overpowers another character unfairly, and not giving them a chance.

Hello, I am the 'guest' that posted this application. I forgot to sign in my account making this application. And since I posted this as a guest, I cannot fix the grammar mistakes made in this post. Hope you understand!

- Tropes such as losing your parents are incredibly cliche and we urge new players to stay away from such so that not all new characters are so incredibly similar, so because of this I would caution you that continuing along this story arc may lead to people thinking less of the roleplay quality you may be able to provide and thus avoiding you as a player.

- You have laid out that your character is a thief but it should be worth noting that all Orcs, including Goblins, are blessed to "show valour and honour where none exist." So you may be a thief but having a justification for such would help add some depth to your character.

- (Because you created this application as a Guest you can just message me to let me know if there are changes you will be making or that you understand the advice that I am giving you.)

 

What this means is that although your application is good there are still changes that need to be made. You will have 24 hours to make these changes. If you make changes you may message me and I will review your application again. After the 24 hours have passed your application will be either ACCEPTED or DENIED. In the case of a DENIAL you will have to wait 3 hours to attempt to re-apply.

So for the 'being separated from parents' part. Could I just get rid of that part and not explain what happens to them, or would that be a requirement? And the part where you said you would review my application again. Would that mean I send the entire application again, or the character biography?
