    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you apply knowledge you got out of character and then apply it when you are in character. A example of metagaming would be if your friend messaged you on discord that a trader was trying to scam people so you purposefully avoided said trader.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is when you make your character act in a god like way and/or make it do things that the character should not be able to do to benefit yourself. A example of power gaming would be if someone created a human that without ever studying any kind of swordplay or magic was able to defeat a human that had studied a lot of magic/swordplay in one move.
