    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when something is revealed/knowledge is given to a player outside of gameplay/roleplay and they use that out of context information/conversation in action.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when one has unrealistic/overpowered abilities or knowledge.

A single golden eye peered at the man from behind a curtain of dusty rose hair. The person paused, taking a moment to absentmindedly drink in their surroundings, before finally opening their mouth to speak.

 

"Aspirations? Wealth?" They asked, their voice almost seeming to be carried away with the wind. "Oh, no, nothing like that, I'm afraid..."

 

They took another pause, almost seeming to delight in the discomfort of the man and the droning of passers by. 

 

"I just decided it was time to leave, and...this is the ship that would take me."

 

They didn't elaborate. Almost like they assumed the charlatan would put together the pieces himself.
