Torjund Kilorman was born in the city of Helena under the reign of the current Emperor. He was born into a family of farmers who helped supply the chain of food distribution networks within the Empire. He has no siblings and never had a particularly close relationship with his parents, although he does care for them. He’s spent most of his life watching others, from soldiers to lords and seeing the wealth and power that they wield. A desire for more would gradually build within him, a desire to get out of the mundane life that he had grown accustomed to. An end to the seasonal routine of farming and eating meager meals. His early childhood was rather mundane, he watched the soldiers going off to war and stayed in primary school until he reached his teenage years where he tended to the farms alongside his Father. Once he reached adulthood he enlisted in the military, he wished to rise above the lower station of farming of his family and to bring a better life to his aging Father and Mother. In the military he saw combat against the various creatures and bandits that plagued the imperial territories. Little of significance happened in the meantime until the day came that he woke up yearning for more.
Torjund’s eyes scanned around the bazaar, he eyed the various bright colors of silks and fruits upon the tapestries and within the stalls. It took a moment for Torjund to realize that he was being spoken to. He blinked quickly and turned his attention at the man who had spoken to him. “My apologies, I’ve never seen such bright colors as you have displayed here.” Torjund continued to scan around the environment once more, taking in its splendor. “For right now, I’m just wandering – looking for work to sustain myself and to simply see what this world has to offer.”
