You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"You have? That's great!" She exclaims happily. "Well, I'll make myself comfortable, then, I guess!". She takes a seat on the cushion and flashes a joyful smile at the hag. "I got a little lost on my way to the market and somehow ended up here, but it's good to see that I'm welcome here!" She sniffs the atmosphere and gives a little cough. "Sorry, I'm not trying to be mean, but it smells a liitle." She looks around and notices the candles. "I like your candles, though!", she beams. She's completely oblivious to the rot and decay, seemingly only noticing the good in the environment.
"My story, hmm? Well, there's not much to talk about, and my apologies for that, but I'll try my best to entertain you! You see, I was born in a little village, and was a pretty normal kid growing up. Oh, yeah, there was one time I found a mole and brought it home! I like to sing when I farm and I love animals! What else is there to say...? Ooh, yeah, I won farmer of the day once with a maaassive carrot! That was a great day! We had a big meal and everybody celebrated! I made such a nice stew that day, as well..." She goes on and on, happily narrating every detail. "...And that's how we managed to somehow hold a Sun's Smile festival in the middle of Snow's Maiden! Oh, yeah, sorry for rambling on. What's your story like?" She looks toward the hag, eagerly awaiting a response.
