On a thunderstorm-intensive night in Providence, a nameless child entered the world through toil and unfortunate circumstances. The infant's existence was a tragic accident, fated to be abandoned. By some destiny-defying miracle, found by a young traveling merchant, whose next destination was a small settlement nearby. There, he made a trade with the Starrett Lodge, - His entire business for one of their fair daughters, who when made his bride, named their now dearly beloved adopted ginger, 'Marilyn'.
Brought to a family renowned to be some of the hardest partiers, talented entertainers, and most scandalous romantics, to say that Marilyn Starrett had her life already set in front of her would be an understatement. Living within their loud and light-hearted lodge, the almost entirely outrageous Starrett family provided the perfectly questionable setting to raise children (or ever bring children, for that matter.) With her family surrounding her, Marilyn was raised in a packed, noisy home. Her first language was Common. She became well-versed in entertainment, wove her way through many stunts and got into many scrapes, and lived life to the very most troublesome, nastiest fullest she could muster. She became competent in stage performance, learning to sing and dance her way to a pretty Mina.
Marilyn grew to be a deceptive charmer by the time she reached her youthful years of growing maturity, winding her way through trouble right under her family's noses. Lacking academic prowess, Marilyn set up to make a name for herself in entertainment at the age of 13. Performing in the area surrounding Providence throughout her youthful years, the teen-turning-woman kicked off a mild career of performance as a one-woman show. Anything from sewing her flamboyant outfits to reservicing her lute was every skill she learned, either taught or self-taught, was something she took immense pride in. With what seemed to be like every stage soon open to her, Marilyn delighted in the chance life gave her at living a constant party. Picking up a few other members to band with along the way, she bought a carriage and began to travel the lands seeking after her pursuit of happiness.
Marilyn flicks her gaze to the man's shoe of choice, then sweeps her curiosity over his gloves, and finally up to his own features. Brandishing a shining smile, she ignores the individual's questions and lifts her hand with the expectation that it will be taken and kissed, since he seems like the gentlemanly type, and with a tilt of her chin, clearly conveys one of her own;
"Thank you for the warm welcome! Who, pray I ask, is inquiring?"
Speaking with an assertive confidence, the ginger takes blatant control of the conversation, and will do so again if he continues to question her.
