    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: To avoid power gaming i would use statements that do not assume the actions of others and keep these statements within realistic expectation of him.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Meta gaming affects the flow of the game since one player will have an unfair advantage over each other player since they are acting based upon knowledge they should not have.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air.
