    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is forcing another character to do something to benefit yours. For example, "Wolfsbane beheads Maria".

At birth, his hometown, Adria, was raided by thieves which left a dark elf baby orphaned. As the dark elf cried for his mother, a Kha on the hunt found the wreckage as well as the dark elf baby and took him in, naming him Wolfsbane. Because he was different from all the other Kha children, he was considered an outcast. Only the family that took him in cared for him. Wolfsbane grew slower than all the Kha, so after his family passed, he was banished from the small Kha village. Wolfsbane tried to survive the best way he knew how: by what his parents taught him. At the age of 80, he began stealing to survive. His notoriety began to spread, and on Wolfsbanes’ 120th birthday, on a rainy evening, he was hunted down and almost beaten to death. That night he picked up his broken and beaten body and limped his way deep within the forest. From then on he lived in the woods, losing track of time, only occasionally wandering into towns to quietly steal only what he needed to survive. One day, a house that Wolfsbane broke into wasn’t empty; a woman caught him, but instead of calling the authorities, she feed and clothed him. They eventually got married. The woman wanted a child and, not knowing his age or culture (the elf’s curse), they tried for a baby with no avail. One day while Wolfsbane was out gathering supplies, he came back to see his wife brutally murdered. As he kneeled down in front of the red walls, his face dulled, and he set out to find a new home, trying to find happiness again.

Physical Description: A mid-sized and creepy-looking elf, Wolfsbane has nether-red eyes and seems to give the impression that he doesn't belong. He walks with a limp.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø  Your metagaming definition is very close, however it is vague and lacking in detail. Please add more to this (Maybe an example too), and refer to our LOTC Metagaming wiki page for the most correct and relevant info (Just keep in mind not to plagiarize)

 

Ø  Your powergaming definition does not match the server’s definition of powergaming. Please refer to our wiki page on Powergaming for the most correct and relevant info (Just keep in mind not to plagiarize).

 

Ø You must include at least one server lore reference in your character biography (other than your character’s race or family, or one of the server’s maps). This lore reference could be something like the name of the city your character was born in or an event such as a war that your character has lived through. Please fix this using the wikia and forums for examples to use.

 

Ø You must include at least one clear flaw in your character's interesting facts/traits.  A flaw is generally something to do with the character’s personality/behaviour. These facts/traits should be at least five-word sentences.

 

 

You’re nearly there however there are a few changes that you must make to your application before you can be whitelisted. You have 24 hours to make the changes above.
