You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Without hesistation, Percival continues towards the cushion, he is not one to stray away from common manners. He does this all without expressing a questionable glance towards the woman, but he leads his gaze to search for any nearby exits if this experience becomes unflattering. Once he is sat next to the lady, he remains with a good posture and swivels his head towards her. "I come looking for a new life, the last one did not treat me so kindly. I am fortunate for all I have and all I had, but I am hoping to set a new path for myself, should not be so difficult, correct? I do not hold much of a story, just a shadow casted by my older brother whose life has been handed to him on a silver platter. My parents always aimed their attention to ensuring that he had the best life, that everything went according to their plan." Percival said, stretching his gloved hands upwards to support his chin, breaking his profound posture. With this, he released a very unhopeful sigh. “I do not wish to believe they are sinister people, but I had to step away and explore my own journey.” The pale human would stretch his neck, looking exhausted, before continuing.

He was never one to rant nor was he one to entrust others this closely so quickly, but there was something about this woman that led him to destress his worries through conversation. “My- ex fiancé was also a factor with leaving. Caught her cheating on me with some other individual, unfortunate is it not? It was the last thing I expected but it was my final straw, my final straw of very few as it sounds like.” He would catch his breath and would quickly realize that he was overwhelming the conversation, passing it back to the woman sitting next to him. “Now how about you? What is your story? You have been all-ears for me so I must return the favor.”
