Euphorya was born to a pair of Seedless woodworkers in a quiet home. Her elven parents were traditional- they expected her to grow up, follow The Wild Path and continue worship of Marin, as well as do woodworking alongside them. She was a friendly, outgoing child. Not many other elven children were around because of the isolated area they lived in, but she was still sociable and outgoing with the few adults, happy and curious, always asking questions. After going through the minimal schooling required in her area, she began learning woodworking from her parents, as well as continuing The Wild Path. She was chastised for curiosity about other religions and the arts, often getting distracted and wandering off to the library a mile away. Euphoya was encouraged heavily to follow the family path of woodworking, but struggled to find any enjoyment in it and became slowly distanced from others in the family. It took many years of infighting for her to decide that this was not the path for her, and she wanted to see more. She decidedly moved away from her quiet home, instead moving to a more populous part of the forest, wishing to explore other nations in search of more education. She is the first in the family to leave home, and doing so on the claim of seeking higher education/ pursuing personal studies. Her family deeply disapproves of this, and they are no longer in contact. Now Euphorya is in search of others who know more, those who are willing to teach her about different religions and the arts, and others who are willing to form strong bonds. A found family, if you will. She seeks adventure, wanting to see different things- architecture, music, dance, food, clothing, arts, religion, all of it. Euphorya craves learning, and she’ll go to serious lengths on the promise of it. Her main goals are to learn as much as possible, grow into her own skin, find a sense of self/a purpose, and find a family, but not necessarily a home. She seeks out something to guide her- a higher power, perhaps? Another person? A quest? A true Seed or clan? Who knows.
Now having arrived at the city, Euphorya took a deep breath of the fresh coastal air. The chatter from the market quickly filled her with excitement and nervousness, the wide scene in front of her more diverse than anything she’s seen in her life. It’s incredible. The man approaching her makes her blink- she takes a moment, pondering. “Thank you. I… am searching for inspiration, I suppose. Knowledge. A little wealth might be nice, too.” She chuckled, looking down to her bag, pulling out a small map with scribbled notes on it. “Do you happen to know where I could find a temple?” The question was asked with a hopeful edge, and she peeked up over the map at him with a quirk of her lips.
