    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when the player quits playing as their character and instead play as themselves, and playing with the knowledge that they and not their character has. This is not acceptable and all knowledge used by the player character needs to be justified by backstory or learning through experience gained in the game world.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is when players focus on gaining items and skills of great power but not through traditional rpg means. Rather than work for items of power, they use underhanded tactics to gain power quickly and unfairly.
