Sandor Puhius’ story began in the Empire of Man in the city of Carolustadt, in a run-down, crime-ridden street, where violence was frequent and the stink of Cactus Green smuggled in by devilish goblins from the nation of Krugmar accompanied each of its dwellers- scoundrels, villains and wanted men of the Human Empire. In the dark night, the street was far from quiet, and between a wicked rogue Alchemist begging a mage to charm his new poison and a pair of elven bandits practicing their knife throwing skill on eachother, laid a poor human woman, who had hooked up with a silk merchant of a Farfolk descent in the Mos Le'Harmless Cantina some nine months beforehand, aided by a pair of Druid mage girls gives birth to a healthy human boy. Food was scarce and the cries of a newborn had not been welcomed warmly in a place such as this, the woman was forced to give up her boy, and placed him at the doorstep of the Cathedral of the Holy Martyrs in the Godfrey Square, a few days after his birth. He was taken in by a weary Monk called John, who stopped by the Capital on his travels across the Empire,  and took the baby to the monastery he lived in, in the Duchy of Adria. Echoes of Sandor’s crafting had become a frequent sound in the silent halls of the monastery, where he was taught by the monk the art of the wooden craft, literacy and the fundamentals of the religion of the Holy Scrolls. By the time he was ten, he knew the virtues of the faith and the general history of Mankind by hand. Some years later he swore to protect and abide by them to the day he dies. At the age of eighteen he set out to his own path, parting with the old bearded Monk that had showed him kindness and set on to find a purpose in the vast world of Atlas.
