You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Well hello, I just arrived and was looking for Haelun'or, I was told I might find passage to the island! I am trying to find a place to lay roots for awhile. My parents have finally let me out of the house, after too many years. I am eager to find other elves and help my community. I have a bubbly personality, and give everyone a second chance, so it is important for me to find a community that accepts me. I am a very open book and unsure what I would like to do with my life, a free-spirit of sorts. I know I will have to work hard to earn my place in society, but I intend to give it my all! I can't wait to finally own my own house and make my own decisions in life."

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: One of the best ways to avoid powergaming in roleplay is to collaborate with other players and create balanced and fair characters. This is great for prioritizing storytelling over being the most powerful player.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fair roleplay by convincing players that the player who metagamed is at a higher level than they actually are. This throws off the sequence of loyalty and the true purpose/aspect of fair roleplay.
