In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: In this case, meta gaming is playing out of character, when outside factors affect the game.
In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: A power gamer really just speeds through story, and does not take lore or immersion into consideration, really just trying to quickly progress their character to have a superior amount of power towards others. It is a way of gaming that does not fit into

Jediak was born on the sand of the blazing desert, to his mother Selek-naya and to his father Rakado. They were part of a small, nomadic clan of Ogols, surviving out in the naked desert. The capital San’Torr was distant, and they had no interest in civilization. Rakado was a bloodthirsty, coldhearted warrior that had participated in many large-scale orc wars. He showed absolutely no mercy for his enemies. Rakado was definitely a tough orc – even by Ogol standards. Rakado hoped that Jediak would grow up to be a powerful warrior, just like his father. Rakado wanted a son that he could train, a son that could help orcs, a son that could be a legendary Ogol. Selek-naya had no care for how Jediak came out. She promised to herself that she would love and protect her son as long as he remained loyal.

Jediak was born abnormally smaller compared to the average newborn Ogol. Rakado was astonished, and worried that he would not get the son that he desired. Though, Selek-naya held her baby with great love, no matter his size. As a teenager, Jediak was much smaller and physically weaker than his peers within the growing clan. Rakado was disgusted. He wanted more. When Jediak had reached adulthood, he was still much smaller than the other Ogols. At this point in time, when his clan clashed with others, the Ogols that had reached adulthood were required to fight. But because of Jediak’s physical weakness, he was not allowed to stand alongside his clan-mates in battle. Jediak was a disgrace to his clan, and a disgrace to his father. Jediak was discriminated against by the others, bullied, and injured. They believed that because he would just die of age, he was completely worthless.

Jediak was no fighter, but he also was no bonehead. Jediak was an intellectual titan; an Ogol who was intelligent, clever, and strategic. Jediak was a natural leader, who dreamed of ruling the clan and leading them to victory. He dreamed of an empire under his control, under a historically paramount leader. Jediak was a hardened, warm-hearted boy. The Ogol was short with little muscle on his bones, but he created fantastic battle strategies. He was used to the loneliness, the isolation, and the bullying, but that did not stop him from lending a helping hand. Jediak, many times, had attempted to teach the clan his strategies, but nobody would listen but his mother. Selek-naya, at times, would tell Rakado what a genius their son was. But, the man did not listen, for he was disappointed he would not be a vicious warrior. Rakado knew of intelligent orcs becoming shaman, but he could not allow the son of a legendary warrior join a group of weaklings. Jediak would be in a great state of depression if not for Selek-naya’s praise. Though he did not fit in, she was very proud of her son.

One night, the clan had settled in a desolate flat spot in the desert to set up camp for a week. Jediak was sitting in his rag-tag tent, drawing strategic battle plans in the sand, while the rest of the clan was celebrating around the bonfire after another victorious clash. Rakado had led the battle, but was not as joyous as the other warriors. He wanted to fight alongside his son. Rakado drank and drank with the others. Stumbling into his tent, he spotted Jediak playing in the sand. Rakado’s heart became filled with rage and disappointment. He wanted a different son, one that was not such a weakling. The father approached his son. He immediately felt a rumbling in his stomach. He was hungry. He filled with adrenaline instantly, as he raised his blood-covered battle-ax. Jediak did not notice his father preparing to murder him. Suddenly, Selek-naya jumped in the way, and urged Rakado not to kill Jediak. This did not work. Rakado became more enrage, and slammed the axe down on her, nearly cutting her in two. Jediak noticed the commotion, and saw his mother. His heart broke, and so did Rakado’s. Rakado fell to his knees – he wanted so much more than this.

Jediak immediately fled the scene, retreating into the expansive desert. He hated that clan, his militant father, the brutal peers, and the bullying. He was scarred by the death of Selek-naya. Jediak visualized his powerful empire reigning arrows down on every single one of those Ogols – those wretched Ogols. They charred his heart. Jediak eventually found the capital of San’Torr.

He understood what he had to do. He needed power, an empire, proof that he was worth something to the Ogols. But first, he had to start from square one and help others. He has a good heart, deep down; but it is pinned by his lust for power and vengeance. His soul his warm and good, yet it is tangled in vines of agony and hatred. Jediak, on the outside is civil, but on the inside, he is tormented. The Ogol desires power, but what he really needs is a person who accepts him for who he is.

For reasons such as:

Ø  Your meta- and powergaming definitions are not up to server standars. Please read back up on them here and here.

Ø  Your biography is really good, however I do have a few remarks. San'Torr was the capital of the Orcs in a previous realm, Axios. Given your character’s age, it wouldn’t have been possible for him to have come close to the city. Olog’s are a race locked behind a creature app. This means you can not apply as that race, but once your are whitelisted you can apply for one and then play them!

Your application was good, however there are just a few issues that need editing. You have 24 hours to make the changes. Please message me here on the forums, or through my discord once you’ve made the changes, and I’ll take another look at your application.
