Frerin looked on at the gentlemen with a bit of suspicion. He said, “I’m just looking for a new life, my past became a bit mundane, and no longer suits me.”

 

The gentlemen looked down at Frerin’s belt, then back up. He smiled, and said,  “Well, I can help you get situated, for a cost.”

 

Frerin was startled by what the gentlemen was insinuating and came up with a quick rebuke, “You don’t want my gold, right?” The loss of his gold would only considered in the most dire of circumstances.
