Arik Smallfield was born to a loving family under the Holy Orenian Empire in 1846. His father was a true Raevir from Dobrov and his mother was an Orenian woman from Providence. Arik’s father, Otto, was a warrior of known renown within the Holy Orenian Empire after his long tenure ship in the service of the Providence city watch. Afterwards, Otto was granted a small fief of land to raise a family on a small farmshed. Arik was then the first child born and only had one sister, Andriya. Arik was then raised as a farmhand for his father and plowed the fields alongside his father. Arik grew very quiet working hard on a field with his ptsd ridden father, Otto Smallfield. After many years of peace, Otto was forced to return to the Urguani-Orenian war and was killed during the battle of Southbridge. Arik felt saddened at the news, he had never expressed his love for his father before his passing. Arik then sought out to avenge his father by ending this war and becoming another blade for the Holy Orenian Empire.
