Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Datenshi sits down on his knees where she greet him. He kept both his hands on his knees carefully scanning his surrounding. Eventually his gaze met the old lady's and spoke to her with a calm yet collected tone. "Expectations like that without one's knowledge often leads to trouble. I'd like to think there aren't any in this case."
After listening to her response, he was convinced to give out a vague section of his story. One that may not live with her tomorrow. "I left my town behind to start a new life. A life so simple, yet filled with corruption and hunger for power. Survival of the fittest. So one morning I hopped on my horse and rode far away. Followed the brightest stars which lead me all the way here." He pressed his hands down on the ground to push himself up and resumed while still looking down at the lady "Was it a good idea after all? Guess we'll find out." And with that, he offers a polite bow thanking her for greeting him and eventually he turned his back and never returned
