Peeka was born in a wealthy family in Amberdell, but due to the war, after the passing of his parents, he had to flee with his uncle to the Viridian enclave. His uncle, Calvin, became a well known blacksmith there. He grew up next to his cousin, Mikels, who would become a hunter and a great blacksmith as well. But Peeka wasn't built for hard work and sweat; the only thing he liked was writing. Writing about myths, about landscapes, about people. He never managed to be good with the sword, so he figured out how to be good with the quill. Now, what he wants is to explore the world, to survive in the wild, and travel to encapsulate the most extraordinary stories within his writings. Peeka doesn't dream about being that mighty warrior who kills the dragon and saves the princess; he wants to be the traveler who sees the warrior and tells his tale.
Because of lack of education, which he only received by reading novels, Peeka knows pretty much nothing about great studies, ancient history, or what is going on in the great cities. That's why he will investigate it all and try to give a solid description of the world, and will go from town to town to gather and tell new stories, kind of like an ancient documentarian.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

"Oh! Yes, great..uh..." he stumbles and drops his heavy backpack as he tries to reach for his notebook to take some notes. He picks his mess up quite rapidly while being red of embarassement and sits in front of the hag. "My name is Peeka Fastquill, I am an adventurer, a trader, some would even say a poet, but I'm most importantly a writer" . He starts to sweat, opens his notebook and takes his quill. "So...I came here all the way from Talonsgrove to learn more about this place, it's people, it's stories." While saying that last part his eyes start to shine. "Tell me old hag, they must be incrdible tales around here am i right? I'm sure you have something to tell me that will inspire my next writings, maybe you can introduce me to some locals, or tell me who's new in town, or even tell me the great history of this vast world. Oh man, this adventure is gonna be a blast!". He smiles with enthousiasm as the thirst dries his throat, he then calms down and asks the hag gently if he can offer her something to drink...
