    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information outside of your characters knowledge as an unfair advantage. An example of this would be revealing the name of a character (from seeing the nametag) before being introduced.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you give your character several strengths and over powered abilities, with no weaknesses. For example, if I had character named Frank and I made him extremely agile with superior strength with 0 weaknesses, then thats powergaming.

I looked the man up and down, and smiled a smile I had faked everyday of my previous life. "What brings me to this city? Well, I traveled  in hopes to find a bright young gentleman like you who might be interested to witness a few magic tricks I've been working on? It'll certainly only take a moment of your time". I then proceeded to show marveling tricks I had learned from Winn, slyly grabbing his golden clock watch from his trench coat's inner pocket. "Well sir, thank you so much for your time but I really must be off" I said as I quickly slipped past him and into the buzzing crowds in the market.
