    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: The use of outside information in roleplay in which your character would not particularly know.

    Ex. - The man would greet the young lady by her name after passing by her in the town square although having never met before -
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Giving your character an unfair advantage in roleplay/maximizing their progress towards a single or multiple goal(s)

    An example of this being let's say two characters are in battle and you were to attack the enemy and write "Slashes across his chest", would be powergaming as it forces the other to accept it rather than let them decide whether they could dodge or not.

"Wwooaahh so many shops and traders.. It's just like back home.." he looked on with wonder in his eyes then was surprised by the well dressed gentleman's sudden greeting towards him. He thinks for a moment then speaks softly in reply to him "I'm here for adventure, but at the same time I'm looking for some people who are important to me. So I won't be here for very long, but thank you for your kind greeting sir." He gave the gentleman a soft smile after replying, and continued on his way.
