Crius Ove Pythaleon was raised on the road, his parents are a part of a traveling circus and never settled in one place. His mother Yonaka was an acrobat that taught Crius many things like self defense, theatrics, and how important a daily stretch is for the body and mind. His father Haemon often read to him while they traveled from one spot to the next. Haemon taught Crius the work of the Wandering Wizard, and told him many stories of ancient battles and events from the world. His father helped with finances and the booking of events for the circus, often being accompanied by Crius in meeting the clients. Through this inconsistently fast lifestyle, Crius developed a desire for knowledge and the knowledge of everyone he meets. He looked forward to every new face he was able to smile and be taught something new by. As he got older, his parents gave Crius more freedom to roam while they performed. He took this time to do just as he had wanted, he read, chatted, and learned. It was clear to his parents that he would no longer be satisfied with life on the road, as it went too fast and the new faces all became only memories within seconds. Collectively, they decided it was time for Crius to choose his own path, and he did just that. Crius has spent most of his life as a wanderer, collecting cultures, life stories, and any random trinket he could carry. Upon arriving in the Kingdom of Oren, he had found that the land of Almaris would be his home for the years to come. With every opportunity, he writes to his parents in hopes they will one day receive them, yet there is never a promise that the letters will ever find them on the road.
