    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the use/knowledge of information in Roleplay that would not make sense for your character to know. For example, the names of characters are above their heads, but if your character has never met them then they wouldn't know their name, so if they greet them with "Hey Steve." it would be a type of metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you ignore logic and actions within roleplay that allow your character to always succeed. Powergaming takes away all flaws from your persona. For example, if one player stabs another in the leg, the stabbed character would not be able to do a backflip, load up their bow, stick the landing perfectly, shoot and then hit their rival perfectly.
