    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is taking an action that one's character does not possess the in-character information for said action. It is the use of out-of-character obtained information as the basis for in-character decisions.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is taking an action that enforces an unjust, unfair, or outright impossible outcome. An example would be playing a Heartlander Human who suddenly emotes speaking in Elvish or Dwarven, or emoting that one has slaughtered another character as opposed to *attempting* to harm them.
