Firstborn in his family, Kastor Ryme was raised in the city of Haense. His father, Hayden Ryme, trained Hayden to become his heir. But, like many Adunians before him, Hayden’s claim was displaced by the birth of a younger brother, forcing him to find his own inheritance. Hayden set out into the world, exploring the lands of Arcas.
Eventually, he found himself taken captive by raiders in the West. He was kept as a prisoner, and held for ransom. His family sent no response to the ransom notes dispatched by the raiders, most likely due to his leaving. The leader of the raiders took pity on Kastor, and extended an offer to join with the raiders. Kastor accepted.
Kastor spent the next few years carrying out raids with this new group of allies. But, living outside the law came at a price, and eventually the group was caught in an ambush by a local militia. Many raiders were caught and killed, but Kastor managed to escape. This is where we find him now, still seeking his fortune in the world by whatever means necessary.
“Hello!” Kastor responded to the gentleman.
“I’d suppose I’m searching for a good mix of the lot. Is there anything you might have in mind?”
