    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Either making an over powered character

She is of no kingdom, but has made a way into Healun’or. She is of impure backround, but not enough to be noticed. She is ¼ wood elf.  Because of this her mother and her father left to the woods where she was raised with different, kinder, ways of thinking. However, in the Silver State she can put on the act of arrogance. She is still quite young for an elf so she still has trouble keeping the act up. 

Character Name: Adara
Character Race: High Elf
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 52
Physical Description: Pale, slightly dull skin. Grey-blue eyes. Honey blonde hair.
Roleplay Scenario:

She jumped slightly and replied, “ I’ve come to travel for herbs...” 

She put on a false confidence and have a forced smile as the man continued to talk. This was a new thing to her.
