Roylan looks over this well dressed, and much too clean looking individual that had just walked up to him, a clear look of puzzlement within his aqua eyes as he gazed upon him, his expression clear, and easy to read. A utter befuddlement on why someone so finely clothed would approach him, a man with a hap-hazard shave, wearing well beaten leathers, and covering his torso with furs from previous hunts. None the less it only took a prolonged moment of silent between him and this gentlemen before Roy had collected himself enough to speak. "Is there any reason I should answer a personal inquiry to someone I do not know?" He stated bluntly towards them. "But I have a better question, who are you, and why have you sought me out, outside of all the others that have walked off this ship? Perhaps if you answer me I can share my name in turn."

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using knowledge that you, as a individual may know, but the character you are guiding through it's adventures has no way of knowing. Which in turn takes away from the immersion and experience that roleplaying should have.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming can come in many different forms, people forcing their views, or actions onto others and not giving them a chance to 'react' in their own terms. People believing that they are the 'hero' and 'unbeatable' and enforcing that view as a player, instead of letting the character take actions and having to face the consequences of them. In the end powergaming is a very selfish, generally unfair and unfun style of writing for all involved.
