    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: i guess metagaming is basically playing out of character. because if for example you have made a character called Stella and your suppose to role play her life, you go out of her role to get information from someone else that is doing the same, and doing something that didn't happen in the role play. kind of like the character has it's own life so, if someone doesn't inform the character in game of an attack coming in, then the character doesn't know it. but if you get a message out of game telling you that and you go out there getting ready for the attack, then you are playing out of character and out of the roleplay
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: powergaming is basically abusing power of what is real and what is unfair. giving your character god like magic powers while others have fair and non-god like powers. making a character unreal in the actions like jumping across a big broken bridge that was broken in war to prevent the enemies from jumping to the other side. or making the character unbeatable that is able to kill anyone with just a little finger.
