    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is having the knowledge of something your character has not physically learned. You learn something out of character and you give that knowledge to your character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Maximizing strong traits and minimizing weak traits. Making your character perform actions that they are physically not able to do. (I.e. You are paralyzed and you jump across a ravine.)

He'd look at the man, "I suppose adventure, just looking for something exciting and to see what's out here in this big world".  He'd start to walk away but then turn back and ask, "So do you have any suggestions on where I should start?". He'd listen to him and start back on the road.  "He was quite a nice person". He would continue on his adventure.
