You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old frail woman raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"I um…" she stamers for a moment before brushing the hair out of her face. "I come from a village far from here, covered in mushrooms and tall trees stretching as high as the clouds. My mother is a healer and my father is a hunter." She pauses for a moment as the woman nods slowly.... "I learned how to defend myself from a young age, I guess my parent were worried about my smaller stature getting me bullied. I ended up being really good at climbing the trees around our cottage to get away from the biger, stronger kids." Oak paused for a moment to think. "I left town to explore and find myself, though I think I feel more lost since I left. I like all the people i've meet and the new foods i've tasted!" The old woman smiles and offers the young elf a piece of jerky, Oak takes it happily and continues. "I think my father would be proud of the person I have become, but my mother will fuss over the scars I have received when I visit next." She rubs the scars on the backs of her hands and smiles warmly. "But she will know they've helped make me the person I am today." Then Oak reaches out her hand and grins, "I haven't Introduced myself yet, Hi Ma'am, Im Oak Honeyvine!"
