Ulric was born inside the Holy Orenian Empire, to his parents Alice and Tybalt Brickenden. They were both Heartlanders, and, as that race tend to be, were always ambitious about the goals they set for themselves. His father was a successful merchant, allowing his family to have a decent lifestyle. Their family were originally from the Federation of Sutica, however after certain issues they were forced to leave, and because of this they made Helena, the capital of the Holy Orenian Empire, their home. As a boy, Ulric was known to cause trouble, and that trait carried on until his later years. He usually stayed at home with his mother. She cared for him as well as she could, teaching him how to think for himself, how to survive in this world. They were always very close, and not much could be said about it. Of course, that didn’t mean Tybalt didn’t do any parenting, he was the one who toughened the boy up, made him fearless. Everything seemed to going fine, and Ulric once met a boy. His name was Geffrei. The two swiftly grew closer and closer, and swiftly became friends. The two lead such different lifestyles, however were somehow able to connect incredibly well. That day. It seemed like a casual morning, nothing was really going on, the streets quiet. There were just the two boys walking around, making jokes left and right. Soon, a bandit showed up in front of them, barking at the two to hand him anything valuable they had. The boys were about 14 at the time, and hadn’t really encountered such a situation in their life. The first thing that came to mind to Ulric, was possibly the most irresponsible thing he could’ve done. He lunged at the stranger, and in a swift reaction, Geffrei joined in. They were pounding down on him, as hard as they could, and eventually they realised he was knocked out. With this, they just ran. Who knew if he would return. This taught them how life could be tough, and with that in mind they proceeded to continue with their life. After that incident, Geffrei and his family were evicted- his father was a thief, because of that he got killed. After that, he grew up and decided he wanted to travel the vast land, see he what could find. He still stuck with his code, where he would prefer to resolve most things peacefully. And his parents, well they were able to live out a happy life, however a year before his travels began, they became ill and had no way of recovery. Because of this, they unfortunately died. Ulric however only remember the happy times with them, and so was able to push past this depression he had deep inside. Finally, we end up here. This was his life, and he was going to live it. He didn’t really stay in one place, or for a long time he didn’t. Welcome to Ulric’s world.

It is what I seek now, hoping to explore the land.” He slowly nodded at him as he spoke, “I hope you have a good day, however I’ll be off now.” One last grin showed up from him, before walking on, hoping to explore this magnificent place.
