    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: In my own words, I'd say it counts as cheating for the creator of the character. It wouldn't make sense if the in-character suddenly knows the information just cause the creator knows it, that wouldn't line up with the whole story.

    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Basically making your character way too powerful, you made them god at this point. All beings have weaknesses and it wouldn't be fair for the others if you made them op. I've encountered this before and it made the story and the roleplay really messy.
