Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Well lady, I dont know how you know me but it's been a while since I had a good chat so lets talk."
Aalf huffs as he slowly sits down.
"Do you have any drinks? nevermind that was rude of me....So you want to know about me? Well I was born and raised in Norland, I had a pretty standard childhood with mamma, pappa and my older sister Hilde. I have loved carving figures out of wood chunks ever since I was a lil lad, this fascination only increased as I grew older"
Aalf takes a deep sigh
"The family, or anyone I knew really, never took my art seriusly. The only one I could share my passion with was my very close friend Birgir, even though he never truly understood, I am very grateful of the time we spent together."
*pause*
"I left that all behind recently. It was hard to leave my friends and family behind but I know that I could never be truly happy there, so now I'm starting life anew."
"Thats enough about me tough, what was that about you expecting me?"
